Cultural
Resources Investigations
EMI
archaeologists, ethnographers, and historians are permitted
to conduct cultural resource surveys on BLM, Forest Service,
tribal, and state lands across the western U.S. EMI has conducted
numerous Class I, II, and III surveys as well as extensive data
recovery projects. EMI has extensive experience in performing
Traditional Cultural Property consultations with tribes.

Environmental
Impact Assessment and Permitting
Ecosystem
Management, Inc. conducts environmental investigations necessary
for meeting the requirements of the National Environmental Policy
Act (NEPA) and associated regulatory requirements. EMI has prepared
numerous NEPA documents for a wide variety of federal agencies
including the Bureau of Land Management, National Park Service,
Bureau of Indian Affairs, and the U.S. Forest Service. EMI has
led several Interdisciplinary Teams to identify issues, develop
or refine the purpose and need, formulate alternatives, conduct
impact assessment, and develop mitigation plans.

groundwater quantity and quality from industrial, agricultural,
commercial, and residential development. EMI also has extensive
